From here on out, free users will get 5 GB of storage space and 50 GB of downloads (data transfer) per month. Premium users will be able to upgrade to as much as 10 times that amount — and take advantage of ad-free pages, hotlinking, FTP uploading and more.

5GB is generous, definitely, but it just goes to show that online storage is not ready for prime-time use. Not yet atleast. People still prefer (like me) to have extra hard-drives, rather than be uploading content to the Internet. Maybe as bandwidth costs reduce, this will catch on, but that’s in the future.
