Sitting on a bench on the side of the street I saw a train of 5 buses pass by one after the other in an amazing display of colour and free-flowing traffic. It was raining at the time, so the road reflected everything making it a seamless spectacle. This is just one of those things you’ll never get to see in India, but is probably common everywhere else in the world.
Green ducks on green grass. This was probably as close as I could get to them without them getting up and running away.
The Instagram version with the Walden filter makes it look much better though.
I was just trying out how well the iPhone does with HD photographs, and this one came out pretty decent considering I had pointed the camera straight upwards. While the colour of the sky didn’t come out exactly what it was, I like this shade better.
Canal in Preston that stretches all the way into Lancaster (and continues through, I was told). I was out there cycling for a good hour or so; quite a lovely place.
I wish I could’ve taken a picture of the occasional duck family sighting, but it was hard enough keeping up with my uncle—rude reminder of how out of shape I am.
A little further up the canal, the way this tree was reflected in the water was mesmerising. Those houses must be a gem to live in, right by the canal.
The first bike I rode in 5 years (the one in front).
Apparently I love to take pictures of cloudy skies with low exposure. You can see the raindrops on the window; it started pouring about 15 minutes after I took this.
