February 2012
@ap00rv Good thing about not having to watch a TV show only when it’s on TV is that I can skip over the useless fluff episodes. On s2 now.
“Fringe” is just so damn weird, it actually ends up being good most of the time.
And here’s the more “my kind of” version: http://t.co/wpLmDVzd
Totally not my kind of music, but totally awesome still ~ Song for the day: http://t.co/Fnk7nyUU
This. http://t.co/n0MErwjJ
@codelust That, and GMail.
fchimero I made a new website for myself. I hope you enjoy it! http://t.co/VxIyA28y
@ankurb it’s not about what the phrase has historically been, but what I’m trying to say. The day follows the song. Does that make sense?
@ankurb but that’s what it is. It’s a song (representing thoughts, ideas, themes) FOR that day. The song is leading the day, if you get it.

kottke Lionel Messi never dives http://t.co/hqXFN3CZ
Setting up my computer to try and replace my mom’s nags about doing my homework when I was a kid. Seems to be the only way work gets done.
The more I listen to this album, the more the songs grow on me: Song for the day http://t.co/C7LZK6PU
Going all Lion King on that shit ~ http://t.co/slUKzzMV
@singpolyma OTOH, if it could be automatically “deploy”d, then dynamically mashed with a stylesheet when requested, we could have something.
@singpolyma *when requested. Plus, having to deploy every time a new post file is created, idk, feels like a lot of work.
@singpolyma Seems a little … inefficient, to generate a full HTML file when only the text is different. Pages should be dynamically created.
@singpolyma So when you “redo”, it takes text, runs it through a templater and spits out a file in a directory?
I’d write one for myself, but I really don’t want to write PHP. Python is a pain to set up. I’m not touching Ruby with a pole. What’s left?
I still haven’t managed to find a good blogging workflow. I want to work with text files, but every engine works with databases.
Wow, $29 for this? … http://t.co/tDb069CB
Gimme! http://t.co/QyTs9Iyp
@ankurb A nod is a yes. A shake is a response of disappointment.
@ankurb I’m physically shaking my head right now.
Maybe someone should try and get their AIDS cure funded on Kickstarter.
MATLAB on Mac is such an abomination, save is Ctrl+S.
Yep.
… eh.
Try and open a .mdl file in vi. This is pretty cool.
“The right to bare arms.”
“The Damning Well” was one project that I’m truly sad nothing came out of. The level of awesomeness was probably just too damn high.

@codelust What’s your current way? GMail web interface?
Sparrow and now Fluent are NOT the right way to do mail.
Makes me want to write a rant piece. You know what? I think I will.
So, someone turned Sparrow into a web-client http://t.co/CPHkSC8a ?
This is new … and interesting: http://t.co/aHvBYt1Y
At the end of every satisfying shower, there’s earfuls of water.
In other news, I started watching “The Mentalist”. My goodness, so good!
Version controlling a Matlab/Simulink project.

Late night revelation: if it’s not chow main, it’s not worth it.
@ankurb I didn’t see the mention because you *were* blocked, as it turns out. @ap00rv’s reply brought it out though. *sigh*
Apple, you know I was kidding when I said “Mountain Lion” last year, right? …
@vimalg2 I drop in once a week to keep myself updated on what’s going on. But the drivel is hard to ignore.
Hacker News is the perfect example of having to waddle through shit to find the phone you dropped in the toilet.
@ap00rv To be honest though, this version is much better: http://t.co/5qWkyRNZ
Song for the day ~ http://t.co/V8BlgBoE
So I have to write a report to the theme of “Building and Leading a Technological Enterprise.”
Yeah, I think I know something about that.
These are just plenty today: http://t.co/CjVJv0Ef
Missed the first one, but walked into the second lecture of a double lecture slot like a boss.
@anomit Thanks, I’ll start with these.
@anomit hmm. Not the first time someone has suggested Sinatra. Tell me some songs to get started with.
@debsuvra all trash is personal to somebody. Personal trash is like saying personal shit. It just sounds weird.
What on Earth is “personal trash”? Isn’t all trash personal? Official mails are weird.
Quick, someone, get me interested in Michael Bublé’s music!
After trying everything possible to stop mails from Facebook and failing, I’ve de-activated my account for a second time. *sigh*
Hello ’12 ~ http://t.co/qEHPKZtt
Song for the day ~ http://t.co/Xl6MexAv
tapbots How about one more thing? If this tweet gets retweeted 1000 times we’ll release something brand new.

To make up for the last whatever years, I’m starting my #F1 stint this year right from Jerez.
OMG KIMI WAS FASTEST!
2012 will go down as the year nobody respected my email frequency settings.
Can I have two more of me? One to go to lectures and one to work so that I can get some sleep? …
Song for the day ~ http://t.co/upP4zQZE
I may not like Metallica, and I know I’ve said nobody cares for the rhythm guitarist, but Hetfield sure can play the heck out of his guitar.
@ankurb I hadn’t seen the trailer. But … heh … yeah, it doesn’t seem like a p.o.v. because … well, you’ll see.
@ankurb I liked it. I’m bias towards p.o.v. style movies—I liked Colverfield too.
“Chronicle” was a pretty good movie. Something very satisfying about watching someone slowly but steadily lose their mind.
Phelps is such an asshole: http://t.co/ByRZ9Nuf
ankurb OH: “Ironically, blind people don’t use touchphones.”
My GOD this guy in front of me looks sharp. Real talk. No homo.
@ap00rv This stuff has been in my playlist for years now. I should look to automating this; lots of people seem to like my playlist.
Haven’t done this in a while, but … song for the day ~ http://t.co/BpgqOF4F
In Soviet Russia ~ http://t.co/c8WlGcAx
The last two weeks have been such a blur. I’m looking at lines of code I don’t remember writing … #wtf
